I was born and brought up in Surrey, England. After school I spent 6 years completing my medical degree at Guy’s and St Thomas’s medical school in Westminster, London. I really enjoyed studying medicine and knew early on that I wanted to be a GP. I went on to do my GP training at St Thomas’s Hospital, London. I undertook in depth speciality training in several areas such as A&E, obstetrics and gynaecology, elderly care, general medicine as well as paediatrics at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, London.
I have been a GP in the UK for 13 years now, practicing both in busy central London GP surgeries and practices in the leafy green suburbs of Surrey. As a child I was fortunate to visit Australia with my parents and absolutely loved it! Then in 2020 we came again for the Sydney Olympics and the following year I spent 3 months backpacking around Australia. Ever since I’ve wanted to emigrate here!
Finally several years later I’ve made it, husband and children in tow!
It was tricky with covid but we made it!In my spare time I enjoy music and swimming. As a family we like to spend time together enjoying the outdoors whether that is walking/cycling or having a BBQ with friends. It’s always been fun to explore new places which we intend to do more off but I’m not as adventurous as I was in my youth – no more sky diving for me!
