Implanon
Contraceptive implant devices are highly effective in preventing pregnancy and many of the Doctors are trained to insert and remove them.
You will need an initial consultation with your doctor to discuss your contraceptive options, which may include information regarding side effects, bleeding patterns and insertion method of the implant. If you decide to proceed, you will be provided a prescription for the implant. It is your responsibility to buy the implant and bring it to the clinic on the day of the procedure. Check the pricing page for current prices.
If you would like to book an appointment to discuss this further, please call us on (03) 8652 5441 and specify the nature of your appointment. We will ensure you are booked with a doctor who is accredited to discuss and perform the insertion, removal or replacement of the implant for you.
There is an out of pocket fee for this procedure.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice before the appointment time to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you choose to cancel and enough notice has been given you will be reimbursed the full fee
If you fail to give 24 hours’ notice there will be no money reimbursement for a cancellation.
