Dr Lakmali Bandara
FRACGP, MD in Family Medicine, PGDip. in Family Medicine, MBBS
Dr. Lakmali Bandara is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed her primary medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Upon completion of the mandatory internship period, Dr. Bandara joined the Sri Lankan Ministry of Health as a Medical Officer and served mainly in first-contact care settings. In 2014, she completed a postgraduate diploma in family medicine.
Her special interests include: Management of Menopause, Contraception, Implanon insertion and removal, Skin Checks & removal of skin lesions, Chronic Disease Management, First Contact Eye Care and Geriatric Care.
